The conference is open to all individuals interested in engineering, science, construction and operations for extreme environments on Earth, Moon, Mars and beyond.

 

Registration Information for Authors

  1. Registration Requirement: At least one of the authors of an accepted presentation or paper must register for the conference, even if the author is a student.
  2. Individual Registration: Each registration is valid for one person and covers the presentation of one unique paper only.
  3. Multiple Papers/Presentations: If an author intends to present multiple papers, there is an additional fee per paper (if no other authors for the additional papers have registered for the conference). No more than three presentations are allowed per individual with additional paper/presentation fee.
  4. Mandatory Presentation: For a paper to be included in the conference proceedings, it is mandatory that one of the authors or co-authors presents it at the conference.
  5. Deadline to Register: All authors must register by April 1 for their presentations to be included in the printed conference program schedule.

Full registration includes the following:

  • Light breakfast, lunch, and coffee/refreshment at coffee break on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Welcome reception on Tuesday evening
  • Access to online Conference proceedings when published
  • Shuttle bus to/from hotels and conference venue

Optional registration for pre-conference short course on “Lunar Geotechnics And Foundation Design” will be available while registering for the conference. The cost of attending the short course is $300 ($75 for student registrants). Attendees will receive 6.5 ASCE PDHs for this short course.

Presenters presenting more than one paper at the conference will be able to pay for additional submissions ($300 per additional presentation) through the same registration form.

Cancellation policy: If a request for cancellation is received in writing at least seven (7) business days prior to the start of the conference, a 90% refund will be issued. A 10% administrative fee will be applied to the cancellation. The liability of FIU is limited to the registration fee.
